What our own folks are saying
"I am extremely grateful to you and the rest of the rehab team. I
felt welcome from day 1 and everyone treated me with respect. The
staff was extremely generous and I felt comfortable asking anyone for
help. I learned so much during this clinical and now feel very
prepared to enter the workforce. The high level of responsibility you
entrusted me with has increased my confidence beyond what I could
have imagined. I will always be grateful to you and the rest of the
rehab team for a wonderful clinical experience!"

"I completed my second part-time clinical at Vallhaven Care Center in
late 2006. It was a great experience to learn from such knowledgeable
therapists. After graduating in May 2007, I went to work at an
outpatient clinic. I realized this was not the right fit for me.
About a month ago I joined the Peoplefirst team. The staff is
wonderful to work with and I continue to learn a lot. I never
believed that long-term care employment was right for me but I am so
happy to be here. I am developing important relationships with both
residents and staff. It feels great to make someone's life a little
bit better. I now leave work feeling good about what I am doing."
Amber, PTA
"In the fall of 2005, I started my first semester of PTA school at
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, WI. During my
schooling I had a total of four clinical experiences. One of those
experiences was with Peoplefirst at Kennedy Park Medical and
Rehabilitation in Schofield, WI. During my time there I got to know a
lot about the company and what they had to offer. I eventually
decided to take a position with Peoplefirst after graduation
for many different reasons.
The first reason being how flexible the company is if you need time
off unexpectedly for different situations. At a previous clinical
site the company was not very willing to allow time off for an
employee to attend a funeral. With Peoplefirst I found out
from other employees that the company was willing to allow the time
off and other employees were willing to help out with your caseload.
This was very important to me since I had to miss a funeral due to
one of my clinical sites not allowing the time off. Another reason
why I chose to work for Peoplefirst was the fact that the
company is nationwide and if I needed to move there would be another
facility that I could work in. A third reason is that the company had
a lot of benefits to offer their employees. This was also important
to me at the time since I was a new graduate and also newly married.
Finally, the biggest reason for working for Peoplefirst was
that all the staff members at my clinical site were very friendly and
helpful, which made me feel comfortable working beside them. Overall,
I feel that those were the four most important reasons why I chose to
work for Peoplefirst after one of my clinical experiences at
their facility."
Erin, PTA
"As a student, I had the privilege of working with Peoplefirst
Rehab. The staff was friendly and always willing to help teach and
provide me with the tools I would need to be a good PTA. I was also
impressed with the ACP (Accelerated Care Plus) modality training that
they provided to me and the CEUs available to me. The experience as a
student was wonderful to say the least. Now, as an employee, I
continue to enjoy the friends I have made, the knowledge I have
gained and the challenges that allow me to continue my growth as a
PTA. Peoplefirst Rehab is an excellent learning place for
students and employees alike."
Dylan, PTA
"I feel like a member of a 'team' and I am proud to say I work for
Peoplefirst. It is a great feeling, one I haven't felt for a
long time. I just wanted to thank...Peoplefirst for renewing
my faith and love in working with the geriatric population. You have
all been extremely professional, informative, and supportive. I would
highly recommend my family, friends and professional colleagues to
this organization."
