Benjamin A. Breier, Executive Committee Member, has served as President of the Peoplefirst Rehabilitation Division since 2005. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Concentra, Inc.’s Senior Vice President of Operations. Before this time, Mr. Breier worked at Premier Practice Management, Inc. and served as Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Breier also served as Assistant Vice President at Baptist Health Systems, Inc. in Atlanta. Mr. Breier received his bachelor’s in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and holds a master’s in business administration and a master’s in health administration from The University of Miami (Fla.).

Rick Starke, a registered physical therapist, joined Peoplefirst Rehabilitation as Senior Vice President in 2003. Previously, Mr. Starke was Vice President of Clinical Operations for Accelerated Care Plus and was Senior Vice President of Life Care Centers of America. Additionally, Mr. Starke worked with the Hillhaven Corporation, as Director of Physical Therapy and Divisional Director of Rehab Programs.

Mary Van de Kamp, Vice President, Clinical Services, Peoplefirst Rehabilitation, began with the Company in 1995 as a speech pathologist and has held operations and clinical management positions. In 2000, she was named the National Director of Clinical Rehabilitation. Ms. Van de Kamp has a master’s degree in communicative disorders from the University of Wisconsin.

Jerry Yarnish joined Peoplefirst Rehabilitation as Vice President of Business Development in 2004. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at RehabWorks and previously held sales and operations management positions with NovaCare. He also worked in the durable medical equipment sales arena and held various clinical and management positions. Mr. Yarnish served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. He has a bachelor’s degree of science from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree of business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Ross Johnson, Vice President, Human Resources and Recruiting, joined Peoplefirst Rehabilitation in 2004. After spending a number of years in the U.S. Marines he began his career in human resources and recruitment where he has worked for over 20 years. His experience ranges from Director and Managing Partner in an employment services consulting firm to working for a $400 million employment services company. Mr. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and a master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Theory from Pepperdine University.

Shane Everett, a registered occupational therapist, and Senior Director of Hospital Rehab Services joined Peoplefirst Rehabilitation in 2005. His previous role prior to joining Peoplefirst was Regional Director of Operations for Health South’s Rehab Hospital Divisions Arkansas and Oklahoma region. Additionally Mr. Everett was the Chief Executive Officer for two Health South Rehab Facilities in Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Everett has a bachelor’s of science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Louisiana- Monroe.
